Description: Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters is at present looking to employ Office Nurse Practitioner - CSSG Specialty right now, this position will be placed in Virginia. Works under continuous supervision and clinical guidance of the practice physician(s). Engages in the practices constituting the practice of medicine in collaboration with and under the medical direction and supervision of a licensed physician. Performs a wide variety of patient care activities and accommodative services to support the medical practice with effective utilization of healthcare resources. Demonstrates excellence in practice characterized by quality patient care and participation in formal and informal patient and staff education. Responsibilities include hospital rounds and running clinics independently. Experience, Education and Training Minimum: Advanced professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice. Current State license as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP)/Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or PNP/FNP Applicant. 3- 5 years of pediatric experience preferred. Meets and maintains State Licenser, Certification and/or educational requirements as a Nurse Practitioner. CPR Training required and/or must be obtained within 90 days of hire. Execution of Non Competition, Confidentiality and Non Solicitation Agreement required for specialty assigned / hired into.
