Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - (CRNA) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 02/03/2014Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
The Air Force is looking for a qualified and committed CRNA . The provider will need will need to have graduated from accredited nursing program. Must have an active and unrestricted state license. Must have a current BLS and ACLS course thru the American Heart Association. Must have at least 12 months of experience with labor epidurals! in the last 24 months.
Will be working in an outpatient s! etting from 645am-315pm on a monday thru friday rotation. There is no call or in-house call requirements, nor will there be any beeper call required.
A certified registered nurse anesthetist (locum tenens) administers anesthesia in surgeries as required by, or in the absence of, an anesthesiologist physician. A CRNA will look at patient history in a preoperative setting in order to determine an optimal course of action, choosing the techniques and drugs that best suit the patient's unique physiology and medical history. During surgery, it is the CRNAs job to administer anesthesia and manage the patient's reactions accordingly.
