Hiring Salary Range: Negotiable to $54,995.00 Position #05170
The Washington County Health D! epartment is recruiting for a full-time Public Health Nurse position. Applicants are encouraged to apply who have maternal child health experience in an acute care facility, physician's office, or home health setting. The position involves: providing professional nursing care to patients in clinic, home, and community environments, performing nursing assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and supervision of support staff. The position requires Virginia licensure as a Registered Nurse. Minimum qualifications include: knowledge of and ability to apply nursing principles and practices, independent nursing judgment, excellent organizational and communication skills, and teaching individuals, families, groups.
