To plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the Dietary Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regu! lations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that quality nutritional services are provided on a daily basis and that the dietary department is maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or Foods and Nutrition to meet State licensure requirements and demonstrate requisite knowledge, skills and abilities consistent with the duties and responsibilities of this position.Continuing education to meet requirements for registration as set forth by the American Dietetic Association (15 hours per year) and to meet state licensure requirements.At least (2) years experience as a professional dietitian in long-term care with some administrative responsibility, or one (1) year's experience as a registered consulting dietitian to one or more long-term care facilities.Must maintain active membership and registration in the American Dietetics Association.Must maintain active state license and membership in State ! Dietetic Association and District Dietetic Association.Communi! cation skills, public speaking, interpersonal skills, problem solving, technical/clinical competence, leadership and organizational skills.Must have basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company software.Must be articulate and personable as well as be able to relate professionally and positively to residents, incoming visitors and associates at all levels.Must maintain regular and punctual attendance.Must have a valid resident state driver's license.Must meet all local health regulations, pass post-offer drug test, and pass post-employment physical exam, if required. This requirement includes criminal background investigation and reference inquiry.Must be capable of performing the essential job functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Minimum Qualifications
- B.S. Degree in Dietetics or Foods and Nutrition
