For complete informations about this career opportunity please read the description below. Works under the supervision of the Endoscopy Registered Nurse. Is responsible for providing assistance to the Endoscopist during Endoscopy procedures, providing optimum care to all patients. In add! ition, must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skill necessary to provide care appropriate to age of the patient served in assigned department. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span. Must also possess the ability to collect data reflective of the patient’s status and assist with the interpretation of appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s requirements relative to age specific needs as described in the departmental policy and procedure guide.
Educational Requirements: High School/GED or equivalent encouraged.
Experience Requirements: Nursing Assistant/Support Tech training preferred. Endoscopy Tech training/certification encouraged.
