Description: Potomac State College is currently interviewing Nurse Practitioner right now, this vacancy will be placed in West Virginia. Potomac State College of West Virginia University is accepting applications for a 9-month (August 16-May 15), 19 hours/week position in the Student Health Center for a Nurse Practitione! r. Position requires an interest in urgent care and continuity care of college population of 1800, with competence in diagnosis and treatment of common ambulatory problems and minor office procedures. Experience in college health and womens health preferred. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: providing services to Title X WV Family Planning Program, establishing medical diagnoses, prescribing medications for treatment, follow-up evaluation and making appropriate referrals. Applicant must be a graduate of an accredited program with license in WV as NP with prescriptive authority. Must have at least one year experience in the field. Anticipated start date is November 1, 2013.
