Location: Lynchburg Virginia

Field advising questions daily from the current and future MSN students via phone and email.
Liaison between advising administration and Nursi! ng administration (Dr. Britt, Dr. Kopis).
Field program specific questions from prospective students when necessary.
Assist current MSN students with registrations, withdrawals, and with degree plans/SOCS.
Assist MSN students with financial aid and student account issues.
Dissemination of information regarding the online academic programs and institutional policies.
Occasionally attend recruiting events and education fairs for the MSN program.
Contact for enrolling MSN students into bridge courses if necessary.
Contact for enrolling Health/Wellness students into nursing and capstone course.
Review records of health/wellness students enrolled in capstone course to assure they have met all pre-requisites prior to start of course.
Help MSN students troubleshoot issues that arise.
Assist MSN students with LUO transfer requests.
Send out weekly Welcome letter and DCP to newly admitted MSN students.
!  Send MSN handbook to students yearly.
 Work closely! with MSN program coordinator to ensure program policy compliance and troubleshooting student issues.
 Work closely with pre-practicum coordinator to confirm student compliance with pre-practicum requirements.
 Notify students in last track course of grad application, graduation requirements and pinning ceremony.

Minimum Qualifications:
 Bachelor of Science
 Computer Skills with MS products
 Experience in Banner
 Detail Oriented
 Excellent Follow Up and Customer Service
 Student Centered
 Excellent Phone Skills

Preferred Qualifications:
 Bachelor of Science
