DESCRIPTION:
Health Solutions Services, Inc., an award-winning national provider of high quality worksi! te health promotion and fitness programs, is recruiting for PRN Nurses (RN's and LPN's) to provide flu shots to corporate clients in Newport News, Virginia. Early morning and evening shifts available. Seasonal, Sept-Nov.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Administer flu shots skillfully and appropriately at one or more of our clients' sites on an as-needed basis, within the guidelines established by the corporation. Demonstrate excellent standards of patient care with concern, confidentiality, and initiative. Maintain the standards of accurate and complete recording and reporting. Adhere to infection-control policies and procedures established by Health Solutions Services. Be resourceful and calm in emergencies. Observes and supports corporate policy.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None
QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to administer flu shots skillfully and appropriately as well as provide accurate bloo! d pressure screening.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: ! Registered nurse (R.N.) with valid license, (or) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with valid license, and appropriate experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: N/A
REASONING ABILITY: Must possess sound judgment, good communication and business acumen skills.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: R.N. or L.P.N. licensure.
