JOB SUMMARY:
Promotes and delivers coordinated wound, ostomy and continence services to home health patients. Serves as an educator to patients, families, staff and other healthcare providers in management of ostomies, wounds, pressure ulcers and incontinence. Serves as a leader in the appropriate use of research in evidence-based practice innovations that improve patient outcomes for wound, ostomy and continence care.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Licensure or licensure eligible in the State of West Virginia as an RN required.
- Licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia may be required depending upon geographical area assigned.
- BSN preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical RN experience required.
- Wound, Ostomy, and/or Continence Nursing Certification or Wound Care Certification required or obtained within the first 12 months of employment.
- Criminal Background ! checks include:
- VA and WV State Police
- 3rd P! arty Background Check
