Residential Clinic Nurse

Westminster at Lake Ridge is a senior lifestyle community located on 62 acres in the beautiful suburb of Lake Ridge, Virginia. Our community consists of 95 ! cottages, 140 apartments, 40 assisted living beds, and 60 skilled nursing beds. Westminster has more than 400 residents, and over 250 staff members. We offer extensive services and amenities to all residents, including dining, transportation, a wellness and fitness center, a swimming pool, and a community center.

DUTIES

This position is primarily responsible for maintaining clinic services and coordinating Wellness programs for Independent Living Unit residents and staff. Additional duties include scheduling and providing medical services to employees and residents.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum requirements:
Associates Degree in Nursing field, five (5) to seven (7) years of medical service experience with LPN certification required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must be licensed in the State of Virginia and in good standing.

Incumbent should be able to apply common sense understanding to car! ry out instructions furnished in written and oral form, posses! s high-quality verbal and written communication ability, strong customer service skills, and be knowledgeable of all Department of Health and Department of Social Services regulations.

Must be proficient in the operation of computer applications, general office and medical equipment. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining clinic services and coordinating Wellness programs for Independent Living Unit residents and staff. Additional duties include scheduling and providing medical services to employees and residents.
