Company's Ideal Candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Minimum age requirement of 18
- Registered Nurse licensed in the state.
- Bachelorâs degree and C.H.P.N. certification preferred.
- Minimum of three years general nursing required with current hospice, home health, medical, surgical or critical care experience preferred.
- Three or more years of sales experience in the health care industry with a demonstrated history of positive sales results preferred.
- K nowledge of clinical manifestations of diseases and ability to develop hospice-specific clinical knowledge.
- Understanding of hospice philosophy and the principles of death and dying.
- Ability to market to and deal tactfully with customers, referral sources and the community.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and public relations skills.
- Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
- Compliance with accepted professional standards and practices.
- Valid driverâs license with maintenance of safe driving record and an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and / or Odyssey requirements and is in good working order.
- Physical exam in accordance with state law requirements.
- Ability to work in an interdisciplinary setting.
- Satisfactory references from employers and/or professional peers.
- Satisfactory criminal background check.
- Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
- Flexible and cooperative in fulfilling all obligations.
