Join our team of professionals who combine their knowledge, experience and talents to provide short-term acute care ! services to assist children and adolescents, ages six through 17, who are experiencing emotional, psychological and behavioral problems. Riverside Behavioral Health Center located in Hampton, VA seeks a dynamic individual for a part time
Psychiatric Technician
to provide direct care to adolescents receiving treatment in our Adolescent Residential Treatment program. Works under the supervision of the Charge RN/Nurse Manager/Director in personal care of the resident and their environment, including those needing special precautions. The individual must have knowledge of the principles of growth and development and the ability to be attentive, consistent, validating, and empathic with residents in this intensive treatment setting.
Educational Requirements:
GED or High School Graduate.
Certification/Licensure:
Current BLS Certification.
Experience:
Experience in behavioral health.
Hours:
Part time; E
venings / Nights, and every other! weekend.
