Current license by the WV Board of Nursing
·
Competent in providing care based on the cognitive, physical, emotional and ! chronological stages of human growth and development
·
Competent to provide care to patients utilizing the nursing process
·
Must have a reliable means of phone communication with hospital
·
Criminal Background checks required and include:
·
WV State police/Fingerprinting
·

Party Background Check
·
If an RNA beginning employment as an RN I, or promoting to an RN I from any VH position, must secure:

Eligibility to Test Letter
(or interim phone primary source verification and documentation of same by VH Nurse Recruitment, while awaiting letter to come in the mail
) from the West Virginia Board of Nursing.

Two Letters of Recommendation from Clinical Instructors, either the original letter on official school letterhead by or direct e-mail to RN Recruiter or designee

School
of
Nursing
to the Office of Nurse Recruitment
QUALIFICATIONS FOR RN II:
·
Meets all requirements of a RN I
·
Current license by the WV Board of Nursing
·
Advancement to this level requires a minimum of 1872 hours of RN experience and completion of annual performance evaluation
·
Full time RNs with a BSN or MSN are eligible to apply to this level with 936 hours of RN experience and a completed interim performance evaluation
QUALIFICATIONS FOR RN III:
·
Meets all requirements of a RN II
·
BSN or MSN preferred
