Provides direct/indirect specialized, comprehensive care, emphasizing health promotion, dis! ease prevention and collaborative management strategies. Participates in clinical, educational, leadership, consultant and research activities of service area. Provides leadership in the development and implementation of policies and procedures and standards of practice.
Provides 24x7 support for nursing and targeted patient populations. Minimum Qualifications Required: Education: Master''Masters Degree in Nursing required, doctorate preferred. Experience: Two years of nursing experience in area of specialty preferred. Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations: Current nursing licensure and specialty certification.
Registration as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in the state of Virginia or will obtain within six months of hire. BCLS Other Minimum Qualifications: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent presentation skills. Ability to think globally and communicate a vision.
