At CarePoint Partners, we provide infusion and specialty pharmacy services to patients for acute and chronic conditions that necessitate clinical monitoring and oversight by specially trained pharmacists, nurses, and dietitians. We are excited to add a Reimbursement Specialist to our Fairmont, WV reimbursement team. This position will be responsible for: Reviewing and administering insurance processing for patients Verifying insurance coverage Obtaining authorization and negotiate rates Working with patients on their estimated liability Following up with patients on past due accounts, and other collection activities Assisting with payment posting Coordinating patient plans to ensure their a successful experience
The successful candidate should have 2-5 years experience in healthcare reimbursement and should be competent in the complete reimbursement life cycle: preauthorization, billing, and collection.
