While Berkeley County is one of the fastest growing Counties in the state, it also has little traffic and congestion. In recent years, a steady influx of urban professionals and executives from nearby Washington, DC and Baltimore, Maryland - have contributed to the growth of local telecommuting and high-tech industries.

West Virginia University School of Medicine Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry is recruiting an open rank BC/BE adult psychiatrist to assume a full-time faculty position in Martinsburg, WV. Responsibilities for this non tenure, clinical emphasis track position include inpatient and outpatient care of ! adults with a wide range of psychiatric diagnoses, teaching an! d supervision of medical students and residents and opportunities for research.

Our Department provides a broad range of services including inpatient, outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, assertive community treatment, telepsychiatry and ECT. We also have a busy consult liaison service. In addition to our faculty of psychiatrists, neuropsychologists, psychologists and social workers we also employ clinical therapists and case managers. We provide training for a variety of disciplines including psychology, neuropsychology, nursing, social work, counseling and medical students.
