Description: Valley Health is looking of Registered Nurse - EMERGENCY ROOM NURSING - WAR right now, this job will be placed in West Virginia. Registered Nurse Department: EMERGENCY ROOM NURSING - WAR Schedule: Fulltime Shift: Night,Rotating,Weekend Hours: 7p-7a, 7p-3a Grade: 211 Job Details: QUALIFICATIONS for RN I: Current license by the WV Board of Nursing Competent in providing care based on the cognitive, physical, emotional and chronological stages of human growth and development Competent to provide care to patients utilizing the nursing process Must have a reliable means of phone communication with hospital Criminal Background checks required and include: WV State police/Fingerprinting 3rd Party Background Check If an RNA beginning employment as an RN I, or promoting to an RN I from any VH position, must secure: - Eligibility to Test Letter (or interim phone primary source verification and documentation of same by VH Nurse Recruitment, while awaiting letter to come in the mail) from the West Virginia Board of Nursing. - Two Letters of Recommendation from Clinical Instructors, either the original letter on official school letterhead by or direct e-mail to RN Recruiter or designee - Official Final Copy of Professional School of Nursing Transcript, to be mailed directly from the School of Nursing to the Office of Nurse Recruitment QUALIFICATIONS FOR RN II: Meets all requirements of a RN I Current license by the WV Board of Nursing Advancement to this level requires a minimum of 1872 hours of RN experience and completion of annual performance evaluation Full time RNs with a BSN or MSN are eligible to apply to this level with 936 hours of RN experience and a completed interim performance evaluation QUALIFICATIONS FOR RN III: Meets all requirements of a RN II BSN or MSN preferred
